Kenai Fjords

This very unique trip begins in Seward with a 2 hour boat taxi into beautiful Resurrection Bay.  After the scenic ride along the coastline we turn into Aialik Bay docking near Coleman Bay.  We spend the next few days kayaking & exploring the bay area.  Highlights of the adventure are Abra Cove, Waterfalls, Pedersen Lagoon and the main attraction Aialik Glacier.  Accessing the glacier provides an experience of a lifetime.  We guide all the glacier walks, ice climbing and exploring. Lodging can be arranged as backcountry camping, remote cabins and staying at Kayakers Cove wilderness lodge.

Sheldon Mountain House

We have partnered with Sheldon Air Service to provide our clients with trips to the Alaska Range.  Xplore can provide guided services out on the surrounding glacier while booking reservations through Sheldon Mountain House to stay.  The Mountain House sits atop a 6,000' rock outcropping in the middle of the Ruth Gorge Glacier affectionately known as the Don Sheldon Amphitheater.  This is one of the premiere trips to experience in Alaska.

Alaska Range & Beyond

The Alaska Range is world famous for Denali.  However, lesser known locations such as Little Switzerland, Kahiltna Glacier and the Ruth Glacier within the Range provide world class climbing, mountaineering and unique experiences.
